According to Bargh News, the Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy said: the use of gas condensate to generate electricity in power plants in the first phase will be piloted in one of the units of Assaluyeh power plant.

“Homayoun Haeri” on Monday at the press conference of the Minister of Energy on the occasion of Government Week added: “The use of gas condensate is one of the issues proposed by the Ministry of Energy.”

He added: “A good consultation has been done with the designer of the gas turbine who can use these gas condensates, and several meetings have been held with Mapna Industrial Group.”

Haeri said: “Design studies have been carried out now and it is expected that gas condensate will be provided to the Ministry of Energy by the Ministry of Oil to be used experimentally in turbines designed for this purpose and condensate will be used instead of gas fuel.” .

He pointed out: the implementation of this project will be done as a pilot in one of the units of Assaluyeh power plant.
